OUR STAFF

Jen Brewer

Owner/Director

Jen opened Music on the Westside in 2013 out of her home, and expanded to our current location in Rio Rancho on Peggy Rd in 2016. She started the business when she was looking for music lessons for her own children that would be both educational and fun. Jen had quit playing piano at a young age, since she wasn't allowed to play what she wanted to learn, and she knew there had to be a better option for her children. When she couldn't find one, she decided to create it, and bring it closer to the parents with the same struggles on the westside. Music on the Westside was born to both foster the learning of music, and the joy of playing what moves you. She hopes through learning at Music on the Westside, your children will continue playing music they love, and not give up on their own practice, like she, and so many others have when relegated to boring recitals and only being taught technique.

Darlene McKerracher
